A new customer video shows the 5 ton lithium battery electric locomotive performing heavy transport tasks in an underground gold mine. The locomotive delivers long battery life and strong traction, which greatly improves daily production efficiency.
Powered by two 7.5 kW traction motors, it provides the force needed for hauling loads of up to 40 tons. The locomotive supports both chopper control and variable-frequency control, giving operators flexibility and smoother speed control in different working conditions.
The locomotive’s adaptable design allows for customized track gauges starting from 500 mm. Standard gauges such as 600 mm, 762 mm, and 900 mm ensure compatibility with most underground rail systems in mining operations.
