The 12 tons battery electric locomotives have recently undergone a complete series of functional tests, covering operation, speed control, braking, lighting, and horn performance.
This batch of locomotives was delivered by a loyal gold mine customer for a full upgrade. Their original 10 tons trolley wire locomotives were transformed into advanced 12 tons battery-powered versions. The conversion not only improved energy efficiency but also provided greater operational flexibility.
Key improvements include the replacement of resistance speed control with variable frequency control, enabling faster, more precise regulation with lower failure rates. In addition, the locomotives are equipped with electric braking assistance for enhanced safety.
Responding to customer requests, we also installed a voice alarm system and bright warning lights to alert nearby personnel during operation.
These successful tests once again prove the outstanding performance and reliability of our 12 tons battery electric locomotives.
